Aircraft Featured: De Havilland Mosquito : De Havilland Mosquito B XVI
A Mosquito B XVI on final approach to base. The “Mossy”, one of my favourite aircraft, was probably the most adaptable and arguably the most successful aircraft of WW2. The bomb bay of the B XVI was capable of accommodating the 4000lb “Cookie” blast bomb.
