Guild of Aviation Artists' Exhibition 2007

The success continues! At the Guild of Aviation Artists' Exhibition 2007, Alex won two more awards

Best Group Award

For the Best Group of paintings by any artist at the Annual Exhibition, judged by an independent panel. This was presented to him by Duncan Simpson OBE CEng FLMechE FRAeS VGAvA who is the last living production test pilot at the Castle Bromwich Spitfire Factory.

 

 

 

The Sir George Edwards Memorial Award 

Given by Mrs Angela Jeffreys VPGAvA (daughter of Sir George Edward )for an original painting or work of art which best depicts and reflects excellence and achievement in British Aviation. This was awarded to his painting 'Slinky Sue' top right hand painting in the photos.
