Guild of Aviation Artists' Exhibition 2005
I am proud to say that I was awarded The 'Aviation Painting of the Year' Award at The 2005 Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition. This was held at the Mall Galleries, London in July.
The top award was for my picture 'First of the Heavies' featuring a Shorts Stirling. I personally feel honoured to acheive this, and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all my fellow exhibitors within the Guild for achieving such a high standard of work. During my initial walk round the exhibition, I had chosen 6 winners, none of which had my name on! Judging is hard work! May I also thank the Guild and its sponsors for putting on such a fine event, one which I can assure you, I always enjoy.
