Avro Vulcan 2B Bomber

Few aircraft have the spectacular presence as the Vulcan in flight. Having been lucky enough to see the last flying example XH558, I can appreciate the grace of this wonderful bomber.

In my opinion, the anti-flash white is more attractive than the camouflage. But that's being a bit picky!

My picture shows a 2B of No. 617 Squadron in 1963 when they were based at Scampton, and tasked with deploying the Blue Steel standoff nuclear missile
