After a lot of ‘kerfuffle’, and a not insignificant amount of cash, The Royal Air Force’s F-35’s are close to being deployed onto the carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth. It will be great to have them on our nation’s strength, and strength they bring in spades.
I have seen the Lightning at RIAT 2019, and it is certainly a great entertainer, its most impressive maneuver being a completely motionless hover. Not the prettiest single seat jet aircraft, but it may grow on me
