A pair of Royal Saudi Air Force Hawker Hunter F6's bank away over an arid landscape.
Having a few aerodynamic problems with early marks, the Hunter was slow into RAF service, but once established was successful and much loved by aircrew. I remember watching the Black Arrows at Biggin Hill when I was a small boy, and I think it was one of the first kits I made and of course, flew out of my bedroom window to crash onto the patio below. Happy days.
This painting was done for The Royal Saudi Air Force Museum.
